Why R9 Legacy is in our flagship range.
The R9 Legacy is Wright Windows’ flagship because it does something almost no other window in Ireland can: it looks like an 1880s timber sash from the street, but it performs to passive-house thermal standards. The NSAI-certified U-value of 0.8 W/m²K is in the territory of triple-glazed timber units costing two and three times the price.
We’re the only Irish manufacturer authorised to build it. Every R9 Legacy sash that ends up on an Irish house comes out of our Westmeath workshop — hand-assembled, foil-finished, glazed and tested before it leaves us. The brochure walks you through how that’s done.
