Longford town sits on the N4 about 50km north of our Milltownpass factory — a 45-minute drive past Edgeworthstown. The housing mix is mainly mid-20th-century terraced and semi-detached stock around the town centre, with 19th-century period houses on Main Street and the older approaches, a ring of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s estates around the edges, and a new wave of A-rated builds: 25 affordable homes underway on the Ballinalee Road (delivery early 2027), the 30-home Faughnan Construction development approved on the outskirts, and steady one-off housing across rural Longford.
