Wright Windows has been supplying windows and doors to Co. Meath for over five decades. Our factory in Milltownpass sits roughly 30 to 50km from the major Meath towns — Trim is about 40 minutes away, Navan around 45, and the M3 corridor towns of Ashbourne, Ratoath and Dunshaughlin all comfortably inside an hour.
That proximity matters. Meath has a wide spread of project types — period restorations in Trim and Slane, M3-belt new builds in Ashbourne and Dunshaughlin, coastal replacements in Laytown and Bettystown, and a steady stream of rural self-builds in Kells, Athboy and the Boyne Valley. We’ve installed in all of them. We’ve also recently been featured in a homeowner testimonial from Butterstream Manor in Trim — ask us for the reference.
Every Wright window or door fitted in Meath is manufactured in Milltownpass and installed by our own team — not a Meath-based reseller, not a subcontracted crew. The same family-owned business that takes the brief delivers and fits the finished product. uPVC, aluminium, aluclad, timber and R9 Legacy composite flush-sash — all available across the county.

Explore R9 Legacy →Why Meath Chooses Wright
Four reasons the quote keeps winning across Meath.
Direct from the manufacturer
Wright is the manufacturer. You’re not buying through a Meath showroom that’s reselling a third-party system — you’re buying direct from the people building the window in Milltownpass. That removes a margin and a hand-off.
Genuine new-build experience
The M3 corridor and the Ashbourne/Ratoath belt have been some of our busiest new-build patches for years. We’ll quote against an A-rated BER and work directly with your main contractor or architect from spec through to final fit.
Right product for period Meath
Meath has serious heritage stock — Trim, Slane, Kells, Athboy. Our R9 Legacy composite flush-sash is the most period-correct uPVC alternative on the market, with 100mm frame depth and decorative internal mouldings.
Family-owned, since 1969
Three generations of the Wright family have built this business. After-sales is handled by Donal at the factory, not an outsourced call centre. We expect to be answering questions about the windows we fit today in 30 years.

Meath FAQ
Common Questions
Do you serve Trim / Navan / Kells?
Yes — Trim, Navan and Kells are all comfortably inside our standard service area. Trim is about 40 minutes from the Milltownpass factory, Navan around 45, and Kells around an hour. We’ve a recent install at Butterstream Manor in Trim — ask us for the reference.
How far do you travel into Meath?
All of Co. Meath. From the M3 corridor towns (Ashbourne, Ratoath, Dunshaughlin) at around 50 minutes, to the coast (Bettystown, Laytown) and the north Meath towns (Kells, Oldcastle) at about an hour. No travel surcharge in standard Meath quotes.
Do you do new builds in Ashbourne / Ratoath?
Yes — the M3 belt has been one of our busiest new-build patches for years. We’ll work with the architect or main contractor from spec stage onwards, quote against an A-rated BER target, and supply triple glazing for PassivHaus-aspiring projects.
Are your windows suitable for period properties in Trim or Slane?
Yes — for Meath’s heritage stock, R9 Legacy is engineered to replicate 19th-century timber proportions (100mm frame depth, decorative internal mouldings, mechanically butt-jointed corners) and has been accepted on planning-controlled refurbishment work. We’ll supply drawings and spec sheets for conservation applications.
How long does a Meath installation take?
Manufacturing lead time varies by season — ring +353 44 922 4600 for current timelines. Physical installation of a typical 3–4 bed re-window in Meath is usually 2–4 days, with the house kept weather-tight throughout. A single front door is typically a one-day job.
Can I visit your showroom from Meath?
Yes — the Milltownpass showroom is around 45 minutes from Navan or Trim, open Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm by appointment. Ring +353 44 922 4600 to book a slot. Most Meath customers find it’s worth the trip to see the full range live in one visit.
