Mullingar sits in the middle of our home county — a 15-minute run from the Wright Windows factory in Milltownpass, straight up the R446 to the M4 / N52. As the principal town of Westmeath, Mullingar has the broadest housing mix in the region: 19th-century town-centre stock around Pearse Street and Dominick Street, mid-century semis through Ballinderry and Lynn, big 1970s and 1980s estates around Lakepoint, and a wave of A-rated new builds at Greville Park, Farranshock Park, Harbour Meadows and the Balnamona scheme in Charlestown.

New-build estates — aluminium & A-rated uPVC. The current new-build belt (Greville Park, Farranshock Park, Harbour Meadows, Balnamona) is being delivered to A-rated standards. We routinely fit large-format aluminium picture windows, tilt & turns and bi-fold or lift-and-slide patio doors on these sites, with U-values down to 0.8 W/m²K on the aluminium and 0.7 W/m²K on triple-glazed uPVC.
Town-centre period stock — R9 Legacy & sliding sash. The 19th-century terraced housing around Pearse Street, Dominick Street and the Mall area often needs a flush-sash window that respects the original proportions. Our R9 Legacy composite flush-sash replicates 19th-century timber profiles in a modern U-value envelope, and we also supply traditional sliding sash in uPVC, aluclad and timber.
1970s and 1980s estate re-windows — full-house uPVC casement. A large share of our Mullingar work is full-house replacements in the Lakepoint, Ballinderry, Lynn and Grange estates. Typical project: 10–14 casement units, a composite or uPVC front door, often a patio door swap to the rear — usually 3 to 4 days on site, kept weather-tight throughout.
One-off rural builds around the lakes. Properties around Lough Owel, Lough Ennell and out toward Multyfarnham often want aluclad — aluminium externally for the weather, timber internally for the feel. We manufacture aluclad to spec and stand over the U-value certs for SEAI grant applications.
